If you are seeking change in your life, let me be your guide. Together we will explore how you can get more from life and give you the clear headspace you need to move forwards.

Life’s three most significant moments – birth, marriage, death – deserve to be marked in a way which is uniquely you. My non-religious namings, weddings and funerals reflect your wishes at these times of great transition.

Well-being of the body is directly linked to well-being of the mind. Acupressure in the workplace gives an easy, non-intrusive way to ease tension, promote health and energise the body.

‘The more room you give to express your true thoughts and feelings the more room there is for your wisdom to emerge.’

Marianne Williams

‘Even though people may
be well known, they hold in their hearts the emotions of a simple person for the moments that are the most important of those we know on earth: birth, marriage and death.’

Jackie Kennedy

‘To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.’

How did I get here?

Coaching? Acupressure? Celebrant?

Perhaps on the surface these seem disconnected and illogical for one person but they have common themes.

They are all roles which help people – to make change, manage stress or mark transitional points.

Mother of teenagers to life coach

In 2010, as my children were approaching their teenage years, a friend and I were chatting about the challenges of parenting and in particular, communicating with the younger generation. This led to us both deciding to take a course in life coaching mainly for our own personal development. I qualified with Coaching Development in 2010, and was inspired to set up Clear Head Space – offering life coaching to individuals of any age.

In 2011 I read an article by Nina Grunfeld, which prompted me to attend one of her ‘LifeClubs.’ I so loved the experience that I joined the LifeClubs team – offering monthly group-coaching sessions for people who want to learn more about who they are, what they want and how to make change happen.

A one-time request to officiate

In 2016, my friend, Chella, asked me to act as celebrant at her Blessing. This experience inspired me to train to become a Humanist Celebrant, initially for weddings and then I fell in love with the  ceremonies so much that I went on to train with Humanists UK as a Naming and Funeral celebrant.

The honour and responsibility to guide people through these transformational moments in their life is my passion and my inspiration.

Acupressurist

I first became interested in stress relief in 2001, as a Mum of two in a busy household. I was helping to run an independent tennis coaching academy in Cambridge with my partner Mike. I tried Indian Head Massage, which includes the upper back, shoulders and neck, and was inspired by the simplicity and effectiveness of the technique. I took a course and then, fascinated by the way every part of the body is inter-connected, I went on to study Acupressure with The Academy of On Site Massage. I set up my own company, Back2Back in 2004, with the aim of providing instant and widely available stress relief in the workplace.
